This replacement steering gear box tube shaft and worm gear fits 41-45 MB / GPW and 46-48 CJ2A models. Measures 40.5-inches in length with a worm diameter of 34.9 mm OD and a spline diameter of 21.4 mm OD. Horn nut is 13/16 – 20 thread. Replaces OE A-8838
