APR Performance AB-922020 - APR Performance Honda S2000 AP2 Rear Diffuser Carbon Fiber; 2004-2009. APR Diffusers work in conjunction with other aerodynamic components of a car to help produce downforce. Because a car displaces air as it moves forward, the air molecules in the rear of the car get disrupted causing a vacuum of low pressure air. To help channel the high speed air flow coming from underneath the car, diffusers redirects the high speed air flow to transition smoothly transition into the low pressure vacuum in the rear. This encourages a smoother flowing air flow underneath the car and allows better performance from other aerodynamic components such as aerodynamic wings. The APR Rear Diffuser Features: Factory-like fitment: This vehicle-specific component is designed to match the contours of the vehicle for a factory-like fitment. Carbon Fiber Construction: This component is formed in the autoclave at high temperatures using pre-pregnated carbon fiber manufacturing processes, for high strength and low weight. UV Resistant Coating: Each finished with UV-resistant clear-coat paint for resistance against various environmental conditions (take care of this as you would take care of your vehicle's paint finish - polish then coat with good-quality wax or synthetic protectant). Mounting Hardware Included: Screws, nuts and bolts are all included to allow you to install on your vehicle.
