If the vehicles headlights were accidentally on and/or inadvertently left an item connected to the DC socket overnight and drained the battery, simply plug one end of the emergency DC cable into your vehicle's 12v outlet and the other into the unit. You can even plug electronics into the compressor's 12v outlet to charge, such as a cell phone or radio, if they are low on power if you don't have an extra outlet in your vehicle.
